1. Introduction

This website located at the URL www.careersconnect.ca (the “Site”) is owned and controlled by Careers Connect Canada (“Careers Connect”), operating out of Ontario, Canada.

At Careers Connect, protecting the privacy and confidentiality of your Personal Information is of paramount importance to us. We are fully committed to maintaining the accuracy, confidentiality, and security of your data. This Privacy Policy explains what Personal Information is collected from users of our Site, how it is handled, and how you can exercise your rights, ask questions, or voice concerns.

1. Scope and Legislative Framework

While this Site can be accessed globally via the Internet, Careers Connect’s business activities are focused within Canada.

Because Ontario does not have a standalone private-sector privacy statute for commercial businesses, our collection, use, disclosure, and retention of Personal Information are governed strictly by Canada’s federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). If you are unsure how these laws apply to your use of the platform, please contact our Privacy Officer at emailus@careersconnect.ca.
